Richard Rush's 1974 Freebie and the Bean featured James Caan and Alan Arkin as free spirited police detectives tracking down a top level crime boss in San Francisco. A shady cross dresser played by Christopher Morley was both cohort and consort to the crime lord Red Myers. In the scene at left, Arkin battles with the surprisingly cunning and powerful cross dresser, finally overcoming her(him) in the end.
